Educare wants to congratulate our very own Emma Kamm, Preschool Teacher, for being accepted as a representative for the Maine Association for the Education of Young Children’s LEaP program. The LEaP (Leadership in ECE Advocacy and Policy) Program supports participants in learning best practices and strategies in speaking about the most pressing, critical early childhood issues. The program includes opportunities to participate in activities and training, speak with administrators and elected officials, and organize with other educators, parents, and community members. The role of the LEaP representative is to grow in leadership skills and advocate for programs and policies that affect early childhood education in Maine (birth through age 5). Congrats Emma, we’re so proud of you!
