Educare New Natural Playground Ribbon Cutting

On April 9th, at 3:00 p.m. community members, educators, childcare advocates, and contributors gathered to celebrate the newest addition to Educare Central Maine’s nature-based learning initiative with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony, co-hosted by the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.

The Ribbon Cutting will mark the grand opening of the newly renovated nature-based playground, designed to enhance the learning and play experiences for children. The ceremony is scheduled during the national Week of the Young Child, a fun-filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities.

The Ribbon Cutting not only signifies the completion of an exciting new playground for young children but also highlights the importance of giving children the opportunity to be surrounded by natural elements like trees, water, and rocks which can help them develop physically, mentally, and emotionally.
